I'm Josie Power, and I am excited to be your child's teacher this year. This is my second year teaching kindergarten at NTxCA. I've had the pleasure of teaching students from pre-K all the way through post-secondary education. However, I have a special love for the young ages because of their eagerness and excitement to learn.

My family and I relocated here in 2010 from Indiana, our original home. I've been happily married for 25 years, and we have two amazing children. Our son graduated high school this past year, while our daughter is going into her sophomore year. Spending quality time with them is something I value dearly, and we particularly enjoy having family game nights.

Throughout the school year, I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you may have. I strongly believe in our school's mission statement: "LOVE first, TEACH second." My goal is to not only help your child learn, but also to foster their confidence and instill a genuine love for learning.
