Welcome to 4th grade 24-25!

Dear Families,

Hello and welcome to 4th grade! I am eager to meet you and excited for a successful, fun, and exciting school year. I look forward to getting to know each one of you! This year will be full of academics, learning responsibility, learning HOW to learn, and becoming even more independent. Let's work together as partners to grow your students into their best possible version.

All about Me

Hi! This year I am beginning my 18th year as a teacher and my 5th year with NTXCA. I began my career as a 4th grade teacher with NTXCA and then left our blessed district to explore other opportunities. During that time I taught grade levels ranging from 2nd to 10th, was an EB teacher and coordinator, and acted as a Reading Interventionist. I am thrilled to say I returned to NTXCA in 2023 and I am glad to be home.

I was raised in Oklahoma and earned my bachelor degree from University of Central Oklahoma. My family moved to Texas in 2001, and I took some time to raise my children before I began my career in the classroom. I am now the proud parent of three adult children and also currently working on my Master's degree in Instructional Design.

Fourth grade is an exciting school year, as many things are introduced to students for the very first time. It is a year full of learning, making friends, and growing. My goal has always been to provide a safe and encouraging learning environment for all of my students. Thank you in advance for making it a great year!

Sincerly,

Ms. Castellow
