Hello! My name is Richard Horvath, and I have been at North Texas Collegiate Acadamy for four years, but I have been teaching Prek overall since 2010. I love teaching Prek, as I have 4 children at home (Micah, Jesse, Rose, and Ileana) and I use the opportunity to learn how children learn, and I apply it at home with my own children.
I earned my Associate's Degree from Houston Community College, and my Bachelor's Degree from Texas Wesleyan University. I continue to learn and grow every day. I am certified to teach Early childhood through 6th grade, and hold a certification for students who speak English as a second language.
Before becoming a teacher, I served in the U.S. Army as an Infantryman and deployed once to Afghanistan and once to Iraq.
