The federal government authorized the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) III funds for school districts across the nation on March 11, 2021. School systems in Texas were eligible to apply for their allocation of these one-time funds beginning on April 29, 2021. These grant funds are to be used during the 2021-22, 2022-23 school years, in response to the pandemic and to address the impact of COVID-19 on students.
North Texas Collegiate Academy has been awarded ESSER III funds, as authorized by the American Rescue Plan of 2021, and has gathered input from stakeholders to create a plan for using these resources.
The Use of Funds Plan and the Safe Return Plan were created with stakeholder input and and detail the way in which North Texas Collegiate Academy is using these funds to meet student needs, and continuing to offer safe, in-person instruction. For questions, please contact Dr. Lisa Stanley at lisa.stanley@ntxca.org
In accordance with federal and state requirements, this plan will be reviewed and all stakeholder input will be considered every 6 months.
