IMPORTANT PANTRY UPDATE! Starting NEXT WEEK, our NTxCA Food Pantry will be open the 2nd and 4th TUESDAY of each month for the new school year.
Parents will sign a new form for the 2023-2024 school year during Meet-the-Teacher night. All enrolled families qualify as long as you complete your form!
Parents, here are a few NTxCA policy reminders as we approach the start of the new school year!

* "Meet-the-Teacher" marked on your calendar (August 8th @ 6:00)
All school supplies and meals are provided. Families provide headphones for all grades and a nap mat for Pre-K. School starts Thursday, August 10th!
To attend school, all students must have a current immunization record or a current exemption for reasons of conscience if your family does not participate in immunizations. These exemptions must be completed every 2 years and are obtained through Texas Health and Human Services, so they are not available at our campus offices.

REMINDER!!! The NTxCA Food Pantry is open today 1:00-400pm. Come shop at the North Campus. Please bring your photo ID. See you soon!
Grocery day is this Wednesday 1:00-4:00pm (July 12) at the North Campus. Families must be pre-enrolled with us to receive free groceries. We will also have assorted clothing and shoes this week.

Applications for the free After-School Program for the 2023-2024 school year are on our website! (Click the link below to be taken directly to the application)
Because this program is grant-funded, seats are limited at each campus. Not all who apply will be able to attend. Students who are experiencing homelessness will be accepted first, followed by students who have a need for academic intervention and students who would otherwise not have supervision after school.
We will process applications the week of July 10th and notify parents of the child's acceptance or wait-list status by July 14th.

2023-2024 Pre-Enrollment Update!
STEAM Camp starts tomorrow morning!! Cant wait to see everyone there!!
Enrollment is at or near capacity in all grades at each campus. If you have not yet completed pre-enrollment forms for your children you must do so quickly! Once a grade level fills, all applications for enrollment are waitlisted. The waitlist is a LOTTERY system, as required by the Texas Education Agency. When/If a space opens, we put all names for that space in a blind draw. (Being 1st on the waitlist places you in no better position than being 15th.)
Remember, no student is automatically pre-enrolled from one year to the next. You MUST complete a new enrollment form each year.

Please help us congratulate the May 2023 "Difference Maker," Mr. Matthew Brady! Mr. Brady is a 3rd-grade teacher at our South Campus who always has a high five and a smile ready to meet each staff member and student. He's been a great addition to the NTxCA team and we're honored to celebrate him this month.
Teacher Appreciation Week is next week! The district has Monday - Thursday covered with some fun things for our awesome teachers. Parents, we are asking that you send your teacher treats, cards, etc. on 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗬 of next week. Due to STAAR testing that also occurs next week, all campuses will be closed to visitors and deliveries Monday - Thursday. Thank you!!
