*Get ready for some KICKBALL !!! Coach Essex will be meeting you in the car line to get you signed up for our Jaguar Parent Kickball team!!! I hope you will consider signing up and being ready to go head to head with the Jaguar teachers on March 24th for Friday Night Lights !!!
*Our 3rd thru 8th grade teachers will continue after school tutoring for ELAR, Math, Science, and Social Studies this week! If your student remains in the After-School Program, your student will be pulled for small group tutoring unless they are registered for one of the enrichment activities.
*Remind all parents who have students in the after-school program, the regular school code of conduct remains active and effective during the after-school program. Students who receive two disciplinary write ups will be dismissed from the program. The write ups are also inclusive of late pick up times.
*If you have a new telephone number or updated contact information, please make sure you have contacted Ms. Rosell to update that information. We have had students be sick at school and there were no active or current contact numbers for students. We are always ensuring our student’s safety, so it’s very important that you keep the campus updated with new information.
*I hope you will join us this Thursday, March 9th at 6:00 for our Pre-Enrollment event! Stop by at 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm to find out the “scoop” at our Jaguar campus!!! I’ll see you there !
*Our Beta students will continue the sale of bottles of water with flavor packets. Our students enjoy this simplest of beverages, so I thank you for helping with the donations towards our Middle School dance!
*Mark your calendars and save the date for spring pictures on March 24. All students must be in full school uniform for these Spring individual and group class pictures.

*Obviously, our Jaguar parents are not up for a "kickball challenge!" Coach Essex is calling ALL Jaguar parents for a kickball challenge against the Jaguar teachers! Contact Coach E at michael.essex@ntxca.org, or call Ms. Rosell at 940-383-1972 to let him know you are ready for some KICKBALL! Sgt Meserve, one of our parents, has talked a LOT OF SMACK! Let's goooo Jaguars !!!!
*Our pre-enrollment open house event will happen on March 9th at 6:00! I hope all of our Jaguar parents will attend this event to find out "What's the Scoop?" at our NTxCA Denton campus! You will want to save your student's seat for next school year so I'll meet you there !
*This week we are celebrating “Read Across America” We invite our parents, grandparent, aunts, uncles, and any other community members to come take some time to read to our students. Reach out to your teacher to get your reading time scheduled.
*Student tutorials for grades 3 thru 8 are this week. Make sure you have visited with your teacher to determine the specific date and time you will need to tutor after school with your teacher. A reminder that transportation is not available for after school tutorials.
*Thank you to those parents who confirmed and attended the Truancy / Attendance meetings with me this week. Remember, regular school attendance is the law. The scheduled meetings are part of parent to school documentation for attendance intervention. I hope to see all students on time, at school each and every day the student is healthy!

Congratulations to the following NTxCA teachers who earned designations through the Teacher Incentive Allotment and are in the top 15% of teachers in the state! These designations are good for 5 years and come with financial incentives up to $32,000 per year in addition to base salary!
